These thin black film sheets come in a 12” X 12” precut sheets that are safe for viewing the sun directly, allowing no more than .001% of sunlight, giving you a neutral density of 5.  It will provide a yellowish-orange image and you can use them under magnification and is perfectly safe for use with binoculars, refractor, spotting scopes, telescope, or view finders. It can be used to view an eclipse directly or to create handmade eclipse viewer or solar filters. Perfect for viewing the sun with a camera, video cameras, or even the naked eye by cutting a single layer of the .002” thick material with a sharp razor or a pair of scissors.  The material is easy to work with and still a very sturdy product. Prior to look at the sun with this film, take the time to check for pinholes, scratches, and tears.
